Hello, because of a funeral service Dublin needed to change the game times of the Varsity games on Saturday. Schedule will be as follows:
JVG-11:30 am
JVB- 12:45 pm
VB- 2 pm
VG- 3:30 pm
The IPR's are now in the parent portal for the 3rd 6 weeks.
Currently High School Athletics, both boys and girls, can still practice and participate in their games scheduled for Friday December 11, 2020 and Tuesday December 15, 2020.
Jr High Games against Cranfills Gap scheduled for December 10, 2020 and Gordon scheduled for Monday December 14, 2020 will have to be rescheduled or canceled.
Continue to support our athletes and protect them and yourselves from exposure by wearing your masks at all times.
December 9, 2020Lingleville ISD Parents, Staff and Community,
It has been brought to my attention that two students have tested positive for COVID-19: a Lingleville Elementary student that last had contact on campus with students and staff on Monday, December 7, 2020 and a secondary student had contact on campus with students and staff on Monday, December 7, 2020. Eight staff members have been exposed outside the normal school day to an individual that tested positive. None of the students have returned to district property since testing positive. Staff members were notified to quarantine on December 8,2020.Case investigations have been completed and anyone determined to have been in close contact has been contacted.
We will continue to monitor this situation and will provide additional information as needed. If you have any questions, you may contact me by phone, 254-968-2596, office phone, or by email, chaley@lingleville.us. Thank you.
For precautionary reasons, and in accordance with state and national guidance, all persons should monitor their health for signs of symptoms, follow the CDC guidelines for people who have had or may have had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 and contact their primary care physician if they develop symptoms. The definition of close contact is evolving and individual scenarios should be determined by an appropriate public health agency. Currently, in general, close contact is defined as: a. being directly exposed to infectious secretions (e.g., being coughed on); or b. being within 6 feet for a total of approximately 15 minutes throughout the course of a day; however, additional factors like case/contact masking (i.e., both the infectious individual and the potential close contact have been consistently and properly masked), ventilation, presence of dividers, and case symptomology may affect this determination. Either (a) or (b) defines close contact if it occurred during the infectious period of the case, defined as two days prior to symptom onset to 10 days after symptom onset. In the case of asymptomatic individuals who are test-confirmed with COVID-19, the infectious period is defined as two days prior to the confirming lab test and continuing for 10 days following the confirming lab test.
Out of abundance of caution LISD will close to student instruction for the next three days. The campus has had numerous students and staff members exposed to individuals who have tested positive for Covid-19. The maintenance and janitorial staff will be working to deep clean the facilities and prepare for our return. Anything you need to work with please pick that up early or contact Mrs McDougal to coordinate times for that. Instruction of students will resume on Monday either in person or remote depending on the circumstances of the individual student.
Information from Clyde for basketball game.
Mr. Haley,
I wanted to pass on some information to you with regards to the policies we have put in place for basketball games at Bulldog gym. My hope is that you will pass this along to the people in your district that might be attending the basketball games.
1. Tickets must be purchased online. Tickets will not be sold at the gate. Tickets may be purchased by going to the Clyde ISD website and clicking on the tickets tab.
2. Due to a dramatic increase in the number of positive Covid cases in the Big Country, Clyde ISD is requiring everyone to wear a mask at all times that they are in the building. Entry will be denied to anyone who does not have a mask.
3. District passes will be accepted and district administration may simply present their district credentials for admittance.
4. We are asking everyone to leave the facility immediately at the conclusion of the game. Parents and friends will need to wait for their students outside the main entrance. Our custodian takes this seriously and he starts cutting off lights in a hurry.
5. With regard to the wearing of a mask, medical exemptions will be recognized.
Thank you for your help with this

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving break. A couple of reminders as we head back to school tomorrow. If you feel ill or have any symptoms of Covid-19 please stay home.
If you traveled out of the country over the break please follow these new guidelines from the CDC. Testing before and after travel can reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19. Testing does not eliminate all risk, but when paired with a period of staying at home and everyday precautions like wearing masks and social distancing, it can make travel safer by reducing spread on planes, in airports, and at travelers’ destinations.
If you participated in higher-risk activities during your international travel, take the everyday actions listed above AND do the following after travel:
Get tested 3-5 days after travel AND stay home for 7 days after travel.
Even if you test negative, stay home for the full 7 days.
If your test is positive, isolate yourself to protect others from getting infected.
If you don’t get tested, it’s safest to stay home for 14 days after travel.
Avoid being around people who are at increased risk for severe illness for 14 days, whether you get tested or not.
Always follow state and local recommendations or requirements related to travel.

UIL University Interscholastic League Protocols
Following Texas Education Agency Guidance and
Governor Greg Abbots Executive order GA-29
LINGLEVILLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL TICKETING PLAN 2020-21
According to UIL rules, schools may allow spectators to attend games, contests or events within a maximum 50% capacity limitation, provided that appropriate spacing between spectators is maintained according to the protocol and according to the following:
• Schools and/or host sites should post visible signs and/or messaging stating any individuals who are confirmed to have, suspected of having, are experiencing symptoms of, or have been in close contact with an individual who has been confirmed to have COVID-19 should not enter the facility.
• Spectators, audiences, fans and media are required to wear face coverings as described in Executive Order GA-29. Every person in Texas shall wear a face covering over the nose and mouth when inside a commercial entity or other building or space open to the public, or when in an outdoor public space, wherever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing from another person not in the same household.
o For the purposes of this document, face coverings include non-medical grade disposable masks, cloth face coverings (over the nose and mouth) or full-face shields to protect eyes, nose and mouth.
o All employees, parents, visitors and students ten years of age or older must wear face coverings or face shields upon entry to an area where UIL activities are being conducted and when not actively practicing or playing in the contest, unless an exception listed below applies.
Exceptions to the wearing of face coverings or face shields include:
• Any person with a medical condition or disability that prevents wearing a face covering;
• While a person is consuming food or drink; or
• Any other reason or circumstance indicated in Executive Order GA-29
• Face coverings are required to be worn by all spectators at all times while indoors.
• UIL guidelines state that face coverings must be worn by all team personnel (coaches, managers, players not in the game) while on the bench or not actively participating in the game or warm-ups.
• Spectator groups should maintain at least six feet of distance from other groups at all times. A group is defined as no more than 10 people, including the members of the household and those persons who traveled together to the facility.
• Schools should not allow seating in consecutive rows.
• All visitors must be screened to determine if they themselves have COVID-19 symptoms or are lab-confirmed with COVID-19 before they are allowed access to areas where UIL activities are being conducted.
• To ensure Lingleville ISD is in compliance with the maximum 50% capacity limitation, all tickets for high school basketball games will require vouchers and will only be available prior to game time and at the designated times listed below. 100 vouchers will be available for home games. Vouchers will be paid for at the gate when arriving at the gym for the game, home or away. Voucher availability for away games will vary depending on host gym capacity. Voucher information is below.
