We will have an awards assembly to recognize student achievements for this year on May 16 for junior high students, and May 18 for high school students. Assemblies will begin at 2:30 in the high school gym.

On Monday, April 10, 2023, Lingleville ISD administration was alerted of an alleged threat; which was later determined to be unfounded. In working with local law enforcement agencies it was determined that there was no threat to the safety and security of Lingleville ISD. Out of an abundance of caution we are remaining diligent to ensure all students and staff remain safe and have a healthy learning environment. I would like to extend a special thank you to both the Stephenville Police Department and the Erath County Sheriff’s Department for their cooperative efforts.

High School Track Meet Addition. After our intially planned meet was canceled we were able to enter into the Santo Track meet for the HS on Thursday March 30th. The field events begin at 3:30 pm and the running events will begin at 5:30 pm. Excited to get the athletes a meet to prepare for District competition.
Golf information. Girls will golf at Gatesville Country club on Tuesday 3/28. Boys will play on Wednesday 3/29. We will leave the school at 6:20 am both days. They will tee off approximately 8:30 am.
Track Meet Cancelation. The April 1st JH and HS track meet has been canceled by Gordon. We are currently working to get into other meets. We will keep you updated.
Good news!! The fencing required by the Texas School Safety Center and Texas Education Agency has been completed. This is also wonderful news for our students and staff who can now move more freely within our district. I want to remind parents that the earliest students may be dropped off at school remains 7:30 am. The gates for car drop off will be opened at that time. The front office opens at 7:45 if someone needs to enter the main entrance. Do not drop off students prior to 7:30 or in any area not designated as an appropriate drop off location. These rules are in place to ensure safety for all stakeholders.

Lingleville High School Parents and Community Members. PTO would like to be able to partner with you to offer our students a fine dining experience in Lingleville prior to Prom 2023. Prom 2023 is scheduled for Saturday, May 13.
If you would like to help us let us know by texting @LHSDinner to 81010 and join on Tuesday, March 21 at 6:00 pm for a meeting to set the menu, and divide up tasks. We will need a set up crew, a meal prep crew, a serving crew, and a clean up crew.

Junior High UIL Awards Assembly will be on Wednesday, March 22 at 2:35 in the cafeteria. Parents are invited to come.
Spring dyslexia parents meeting tomorrow 5:00-6:00 in the JH room 702.
With evidence that severe storms are predicted to hit our area by 4:00 we need to ensure everyone is safely home before they arrive. We will be running busses at 3:00. Car riders will also be released at 3:00. Please be safe and timely so that we can get our staff home safe as well.
We are closely monitoring the weather. If parents would like to pickup your kids early you are welcome to do so. If needed we may run busses later to avoid any safety concerns. We will send updates if any further adjustments are needed.
