NHS's Annual Candy Gram Fundraiser starts today December 9th. Order forms were sent home with students on Friday December 6th. Orders with payment are due Friday December 13th. Candy Grams will be delivered to students on December 18th. Extra forms are located in the front office.
We are working with our fire alarm service to make repairs to our system. It is possible for an alarm to sound over the weekend and into Monday. Our local fire department has been made aware of the situation.
Tonight's junior high games against Iredell have been rescheduled for Thursday , Dec. 5th. Girls start at 5:30, boys at 6:30. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We have early release tomorrow (11/22) at 1:00.
Also, we will be using the break next week to test our fire alarm systems while students are out. Some alarms may be triggered during this time. Please disregard any alarms at the school in the afternoon on 11/26.
Interim Assessments begin next week! Please help ensure that your students get a good night's rest the night before. Students are welcome to bring snacks and a water for the interim assessments. The grades, subjects, and dates are as follows:
Nov. 19th: 3-8 RLA
Nov. 20th: 3-8 Math
Dec. 10th: English I and II
Dec. 11th: Algebra I

Basketball season tips off for both boys and girls teams tomorrow 11/14 at home vs Brookesmith. JvB tip off at 5pm followed by Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys.
Friday 11/15 we have Graford at home JvB 5pm, followed by Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys.
In order to allow all students, parents, staff and community members to attend and support our Lady Cardinals at their playoff game tomorrow, the boys basketball games have been rescheduled for this Thursday, November 14th. The boys will play Brookesmith as follows: JV at 5:00 pm followed by Varsity at 6:00 pm. Good luck to our Lady Cardinals tomorrow in the Regional Quarterfinals!!

Parents: Wednesday, October 6th, we will have a make-up photography day for any students that were not on campus when Fall pictures were taken. If your student is one of these, be on the lookout for a note to come home as a reminder for them and you.
We would like to cordially invite all who have served to Veteran's Day Breakfast to be held on Friday, November 8, 2024. Breakfast will be served from 7:00am - 7:15 am. The event flyer is attached.
